Every build begins the same way — with a clear plan.

Transparency around timelines, budgets, scope, and expectations ensures each project moves smoothly from the moment it enters the shop to the moment it leaves.

The process is straightforward: careful planning, meticulous execution, and constant communication.

Step 1: Define the Vision

The project starts with a detailed discussion of the vehicle’s intended use and end goal.

Daily driver? Weekend toy? Showpiece? OEM+ sleeper with modern drivability? Best of show contender?

Key topics include:

  • Desired performance level
  • Authentic restoration vs. OEM+ direction
  • Paint and body requirements
  • Interior condition and goals
  • Timeline expectations

Step 2: Vehicle Evaluation

Once the vehicle is delivered or inspected in person, a comprehensive evaluation is performed, including:

  • Full mechanical assessment
  • Rust and metalwork review
  • Paint condition analysis
  • Drivetrain and wiring inspection
  • Interior structure assessment
  • Underbody and suspension condition

All findings are documented with photos, notes, and recommendations to form a clear, goal-driven plan.

Step 3: Project Breakdown

Following the evaluation, a transparent line-by-line outline is provided, covering:

  • Metalwork and fabrication
  • Mechanical repairs or upgrades
  • Engine rebuild or swap options
  • Paint and body strategy
  • Interior restoration scope
  • Parts sourcing
  • Estimated timeline
  • Estimated budget range

Step 4: Build Phase

This is where transformation begins. Depending on the project, work may include:

  • Metal repair and fabrication
  • Complete disassembly
  • Paint booth preparation and refinishing
  • Engine and drivetrain work
  • Wiring and electronics
  • Suspension and brake systems
  • Interior restoration
  • Final assembly

Step 5: Progress Updates

Regular updates are provided at key milestones to maintain full visibility throughout the build.

Typical checkpoints include:

  • Post-disassembly findings
  • Metalwork progress
  • Paint preparation and completion
  • Drivetrain installation
  • Wiring and plumbing
  • Final assembly milestones

Optional shared photo albums can be created to follow the build in real time.

Step 6: Final Delivery

Once complete, each vehicle undergoes:

  • Full system checks
  • Drivetrain shakedown
  • Road testing for drivability, cooling, tuning, and reliability
  • Verification of all systems and fasteners
  • Full interior and exterior detailing
  • In-person review at delivery

The result is a build that is sorted, reliable, and ready to enjoy — not one that requires immediate revisions or troubleshooting.

Post-delivery support is also available for tune-ups, touch-ups, and future upgrades.
